What is an allergy certificate?

An allergy certificate is an official document that verifies the exact allergen you are allergic to, the signs of an allergic reaction to that allergen, what you should be avoiding as well as medications you need to have ready to go in case of exposure.

What will you receive?

With a UK Meds allergy certificate, you will be provided with a signed PDF letter detailing your allergy including the type of allergy and allergens you are allergic to and the medications you are required to carry with you. A QR code will also be included on your certificate. When scanned, this QR can verify the authenticity of the certificate and confirm the details provided on it. 

How do you get an allergy certificate?

It is easy to get a UK Meds allergy certificate. Simply complete our online questionnaire that includes details about your allergy and the reactions you have. Once verified you will receive your signed PDF letter.

What do you need to supply?

In order to receive a UK Meds allergy certificate you will need to provide the following:

• A completed medical questionnaire
• Medical documentation confirming your diagnosis
• Details of your GP
• The medications you are required to take
• A photo of your passport, driving licence or birth certificate
• Confirmation of the type of allergy and common allergens 

When will you receive your allergy certificate?

At UK Meds you have 2 options when it comes to receiving your disability medical letter. Our express option provides you with same-day delivery between 9am and 9pm. A member of our team will review your request and the evidence you provide and, if approved, will provide you with your letter. Standard delivery is also available this will provide you with your letter within 2 working days.
