Combodart contains two active ingredients, Dutasteride and Tamsulosin, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor and an alpha-blocker respectively.

Dutasteride lowers the production of a hormone known as dihydrotestosterone, helping to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms. This results in the reduction of the risk of acute urinary retention and the necessity for surgical intervention.

Tamsulosin works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate gland, allowing the urine to pass easily.

There are two main benefits of using Combodart. First, Dutasteride lowers the production of dihydrotestosterone to help shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms, and two, Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the prostate gland to make it easier for urine to pass and to quickly improve the symptoms.

This medication is effective in providing quick relief from the symptoms of an enlarged prostate and the accompanying symptoms.

One Combodart capsule should be taken once daily, about half an hour after the same meal each day.

The Combodart capsule should be swallowed whole, without chewing or opening it, because the contents of the capsule could irritate the lining of the mouth and throat.

In case you forget to take a dose of Combodart, just leave out the missed dose and take the next dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose as a makeup for the missed one.

The usual dose of Combodart is one capsule daily, to be taken half an hour after the same meal each day.

Combodart may cause dizziness, light-headedness or occasionally fainting. Be careful and get up slowly from a lying or sitting position, particularly if you wake up at night. If you feel light-headed or dizzy at any time during the treatment, sit or lie down until the symptoms pass.

The drowsiness, blurred vision, or dizziness that Combodart may cause could affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Do not perform those tasks until you are sure that your condition will not affect your performance.

Combodart does not cause prostate cancer, but your enlarged prostate gland could be caused by prostate cancer. Your doctor will perform tests for prostate cancer before he starts your treatment with Combodart.

Inform your doctors that you are taking Combodart before undergoing eye surgery for cataracts. Tamsulosin can make your pupil dilate poorly and turn the iris floppy during the procedure. Letting the doctors know that you are taking Combodart will enable them to take appropriate precautions during the surgery. They may ask you to stop you from taking this medication for a period of time before the cataract surgery.

Your fertility and your ability to father a child may be reduced by taking this medication that contains Dutasteride, which affects semen characteristics.

While taking Combodart, use a condom during sex if your sexual partner is pregnant or could become pregnant. Dutasteride in Combodart passes into the semen and could harm the development of the male fetus.

Men who are taking Combodart should not donate blood during treatment and for at least six months after stopping the treatment with this medicine.

Women, children, and adolescents should avoid contact with Combodart because Dutasteride can be absorbed through the skin.

A few cases of male breast cancer have been reported with Dutasteride. It is important that you tell your doctor if you notice any changes in your breast tissue during the treatment, such as pain, lumps, or nipple discharge.

Combodart is not be used in women, children, or adolescents under the age of 18.

Men who are allergic to other 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors such as finasteride, men who are allergic to peanuts or soya, of those with a history of decreased blood pressure when moving from a sitting or lying position to sanding, and those with severely decreased liver function should not use Combodart.

Men who are taking Combodart must use a barrier form of contraceptive, such as a condom, during sex with a pregnant partner to avoid any harmful effects on the developing male baby.

Women who are breastfeeding should avoid getting in contact with this medication.

It is necessary that before you start taking Combodart, you should share with your doctor a list of all current medications you are taking to enable him to check for any unsafe combination with this medication.

You can safely buy Combodart online at UK Meds. You will first need to have an online consultation with a pharmacist independent prescriber before your order will be supplied. The online consultation will ensure that Combodart is the right medication for your medical condition.
