- People taking Digoxin or thiazide diuretics
- Sarcoidosis

Fultium D3 should not be used in the following:
- Children under 12 years old

- People with severely decreased kidney function.
- People with vitamin D poisoning.
- People with an allergy to peanuts or soya.

Fultium D3 is safe to take during pregnancy for the treatment of an established vitamin D deficiency. It is essential that you let your doctor know that you are pregnant and for you to follow the instructions given by him for how many capsules of Fultium D 3 to take each day. You should not take any other vitamin D supplement in combination with Fultium D3.
Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers who do not have an established vitamin D deficiency should not take this medicine. Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should take only vitamin D supplement containing 10 mcg of vitamin D to prevent vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D passes into breast milk. Fultium D3 is safe for breastfeeding mothers to take in order to treat established vitamin D deficiency. However, after prescribing high dose of vitamin D for a breastfeeding mother, the infant should be monitored for calcium levels.
It is important to share with your doctor a list of all the medications you are taking before you start taking Fultium D3. Similarly, do not stop or start taking another medication without informing your doctor.
You should not take calcium or vitamin D supplements in combination with this medicine, unless specifically ordered by your doctor.
