UK Meds to sponsor boxer Ekow Essuman as he takes on Owen Cooper

UK Meds is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring Nottingham-based boxer Ekow Essuman in his highly anticipated upcoming fight against Owen Cooper in Birmingham.

A former BBBC English Welterweight, BBBC British Welterweight, IBF European Welterweight and WBC International Silver Welterweight champion, Ekow has the chance to become WBO European Welterweight champion for the first time, as well as BBBC English Welterweight champion for a second time.

Essuman faces undefeated Englishman Owen Cooper, who won the WBO European Welterweight and BBBC English Welterweight titles against Eithan James in March this year.

The fight takes place on ‘The Magnificent Seven’ card at the Resort's World Arena in Birmingham on the 20th of July 2024. 

Other fights taking place on the card include a rematch between Brad Pauls and Nathan Heaney for the BBBC British Middleweight title and Chantelle Wright taking on Elhem Mekhaled for the vacant WBC Interim World Super Lightweight title.
